Se confirma Black Ops 2 como el nuevo Call of Duty

Una cadena de tiendas norteamericana ofrece ya la posibilidad de reservar el nuevo Call of Duty, donde deja bien claro que su nombre será Black Ops 2.
 El establecimiento se adelanta así a la propia Activision, que tiene previsto la presentación de CoD en las próximas horas. Además, vuelve a señalar el 13 de noviembre como fecha de lanzamiento.

Era cuestión de tiempo que Activision acabara por confirmar lo que parecía ya un hecho incuestionable. Prácticamente todo el mundo apostaba (y así deseaba) que el nuevo Call of Duty iba a ser una secuela del exitoso y reconocido Black Ops. Y dentro de tal posibilidad, la mayoría apuntaban que la próxima entrega llevaría por nombre Black Ops 2, mientras que otra parte, a raíz de lo publicado en los medios, se decantaba por la posibilidad de que Activision finalmente lo rebautizaría comoEclipse.
El misterio estaba previsto que se resolviera este mismo martes1 de mayo; fecha que Activision había anunciado en la página oficial de la franquicia como el momento elegido para desvelar y presentar el nuevo Call of Duty.

Pero se le han adelantado. Una cadena de tiendas norteamericana, Target, comenzó a distribuir una serie de tarjetas donde se ofrece la posibilidad de reservar el nuevo título, donde viene claramente escrito Call of Duty: Black Ops 2; confirmando así el nombre por el que muchos apostaban.
Pero además de ese nombre, la tienda también señala la posible fecha de lanzamiento. Y ésta vuelve a ser una que ya se había señalado con anterioridad: Black Ops 2 se pondrá a la venta el próximo 13 de noviembre, según dichas ofertas de reserva.

Ello coincidiría con lo que se rumoreaba desde la semana pasada, y en la que se afirmaba que el nombre de Eclipse (que aparece en el primer cartel promocional del título) vendría a indicar dicha fecha de estreno, dando a entender que se estrenaría coincidiendo con el próximo eclipse solar, que se producirá ese mismo día de noviembre.

Sea como fuere, este mismo martes saldremos definitivamente de dudas, aunque no dudéis de que será para presentar de manera oficial Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Seguid atentos a las novedades de la franquicia CoD en Gamerzona.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Arrives Nov. 13 With Futuristic and Retro Combat

Treyarch returns to first-person shooter (FPS) action on Nov. 13 with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Grumpy gamers who decry that Treyarch is churning out yet another FPS in an already-flooded market may find that the upcoming release looks to add a new twist to the formula.

It starts with the setting. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 occurs years into the future (2025) where an enemy seizes control of high-tech, unmanned war machines that were designed to protect the country. According to The Guardian, this foe is a terrorist group led by the antagonist, Menedez, who hacked into the U.S. defense network. There's also a simmering Cold War between America and China over rare Earth materials.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's story was penned by David Goyer, one of the minds behindBatman Begins and The Dark Knight, according to Kotaku. The gaming site also states that a portion of Black Ops 2 is set during the 1980s (which ties into the Cold War theme), and that there's a branching storyline based on user decisions.

Besides the futuristic weaponry and military craft that look like they were pulled from the set of a Terminator flick, there are also shootouts that occur on horseback. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 trailer (below) reveals that battles occur in a desert environment as well as war-torn Los Angeles.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, a PS3 and Xbox 360 title, will arrive on store shelves Nov. 13.

Zombies

Black ops 2 zombies had been confirmed by Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia. “If you like zombies you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops 2″ Mark Lamia said and he added “it is the biggest most ambitious zombies ever”. Black ops 2 zombies mode will be another game entirely. This year the nazi zombies are going mad and want to have fresh soldiers slices.

 Black ops II zombies is considered one of the most attracting parts of the black ops 2 game and Treyarch will do their best to develop this part as it is one of their fans and their favorite part. Although the last part of the zombies franchise was not too good compared to the first one but this year there will be a lot of blood and more exciting, the black ops 2 zombies will gonna rock this year. Update: Official call of duty site has posted an image related to zombies which contains a woman carrying a shotgun and holding a zombie head in her hand.
